I have mostly used the blog to allow you to see a window into our world, the grief process of losing Tyler, how the Lord has used it and what He is stirring in our hearts. Of course, there is always a few pictures of my sweeties to go along with that too;)
If you would, take a moment to leave a comment, or you can even email me if you like. I have some thoughts brewing and would love a little help from my blog friends:)
Thanks,
Jen
I enjoy just getting a look into your world...being able to know how I can pray for your family and celebrating joys too. I love your open and honest thoughts. I've been praying for you through this quiet blog time asking the Lord to wrap his arms around you extra hard to let you know that you are not alone and that you are loved.

I love hearing about how honest you are and how you live your life. I love your thoughtful sayings and how open you are with speaking your mind. I love to be able to pray for you when you are in need of prayers. I love seeing pictures of Cooper and Sawyer and I love hearing about the memories you shared with Tyler.
ReplyDeleteFirst I have to say I am loving your new header and blog update. What drew me to your blog was your honesty which was clear in your writing. I read an assortment of blogs some on decor, some "mom blogs" etc. and yours is just one I enjoy reading - whether that's on seeing the pictures of your kids or other things in life.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog. Somehow in allowing others to pray for you in vulnerable moments, it brings us all closer to the throne of grace and allows us to bow before it in comraderie. Your honesty, openness. I read every post. I love the pics of your kids, family doings, your amazing thoughts, and vulnerability and strength. Keep writing Jen! I'm reading whatever you spit out. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your honesty and openness. I'm with the other commentors...whatever you've done in the past, keep it coming. One of my all-time favorite posts of any blog was about "what sign would you wear?" about taking Cooper to MDO admidst all the other parents that seem to have it all together. I have referred to it often when talking with others struggling with life. You are a great writer. Keep it coming! :)
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteI love the opportunity to hear your heart, to learn from you about our amazing Savior and the grace and He supplies daily, even as you walk through this time. I love knowing how to pray for y'all and though we don't get to talk, knowing what's going on and being "involved" in y'alls life. We love you so much and are so thankful to the Lord for you.

p.s. I LOVE the new blog header pic!
Your honesty is refreshing...Love to see how you deal with your hurts and joys. It is good to read that I am not alone in hurting. (different kind of hurt) I can relate to you in some way and see that there is hope. To see the life God has given to you, keeps me smiling. To see that there are good people in this world is awesome. You are very inspiring. Just be who you are. Share what you feel you can share with us.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog... how open and honest you are with your grief. I would love to see more pics of your beautiful boys though too!
ReplyDeleteyour faith encourages me, you make so many people better in the ways that you show your love for the Lord, i love reading about how He speaks to you in different situations and how He shows himself through your precious boys :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog recently and as a new mother, also, it is nice to see that others are having some of the same feelings, emotions, trials, joys that I am. Your stories & your faith are encouraging to me! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love that your blog shows that you are real, you are raw, you are weak, you are strong! Seeing you in passing at the Well and following your blog makes you a real person, not just the pastors wife. Your story has given hope to so many who have not only lost a child but those of us who ache at the thought of losing one, you have shown me to appreciate the little things, time is borrowed. I so appreciate your honesty and willingness to share thru the pain! The pictures are pretty awesome too (Cori is such an amazing photographer, she did our pics in March...so always fun to see her work!)
ReplyDeleteYou give me perspective, and I so appreciate that! Love your family! Love you!

Jen, you point me towards Christ. I enjoy all of your posts because it IS a small window into your family's life. There just isn't time to do the kind of "catching up" I wish I could with you and others. Your blog let's me in anyway. After reading lots of your entries I leave with a desire to go to God. Thank you for this. Your "life journaling" points me, and I'm sure others towards Him. Thank you for letting us in.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Do you need some prints done? I have a block of clay to use up.
